AnnouncementThanks to getting a life (yay, or something) (which means my own appartment, a cool job) time hasn't been nice to me. I started playing the game again in Oktober, and i do wanna enjoy some gametime. I cannot tell if there will be future development for the bot, as i'm not sure it's needed with the direction the game is going to (focussed on paying players, high-level stuff, instanced-everything).
The bot however will just keep running as it allways did, and we'll see what the future brings, and how much time i'll have on my side since i still have a loooot to learn, get certificates, and so on.

090506After beeing gone for a long time, i'm back, and it's time to spice things up! Bot has been setup in a new application structure, and the autostart process has been improved. Bot configurations prepared for all bots.
090213Not directly in the line of the Atlantean Network project, but i've tested Vhabot CE for a client on my server. And, a Windows bot running under Mono on a Linux server.. it works, but only half. So, no option ever for Atlantean.

090104As we didn't like the minimum bid requirement of 2, i dove into the Bid.php module to find that 2 was hardcoded, and thus rewrote it a tiny bit to make it configurable. Supplied upstream. Kept it to integer-bidding, cause it'd need a complete rewrite to be able to bid floats, or have us overbid with .1's which is lame too. A minimum of 1 sounds viable anyway.
081230The ADMIN rank received Standard Moderator role in Machine Room, SUPERADMIN has the Full Moderator role. I'm expecting users to post applies in the Machine Room currently, Leader+ to reply, and finally an Admin+ to lock it when the descision is made.
081229Updated the forum style to show white poster names instead of black. Updated the forums to the latest version. Wrote and added the raid web-interface, see the button above called "RAID". Updated some forum ranks and ingame ranks/memberships.
081227As i couldn't keep promising development continuesly with my steady lack of time, Atlantean has been relaunched on the new Bebot 6* branch, including points this time. This does not mean development will stop! Development will continue as i was doing here. Offcourse, now it's running, it still needs a lot of work, like for example the return of the quotes module, better settings, etc. The colors were chosen by our sexy Gorgin
081223A testbot has been launched on the new Bebot 6* branch and module settings have been made so i can easily run a script to configure the whole bot with 1 touch once i launch Atlantean on the new framework. A raid module including a points module is present. Even crazier, IRC, bot has it, relaying chat between IRC and the bot. You can allready join: #ao-atlantean on freenode, and follow the tests and development before it hits Atlantean.

080907Completed configuring the forum (categories, forums, user groups and ranks, and correct rights to the forums) to something we can use and opened them up. Fresh forums, i know, aren't all cool.. but i promise i will get some of the good stuff we had on the previous forums back on it.
080903Got the bot network working, all that remains is proper testing on the real requirements and settings to run the bot network. Once that's complete, distributed buddylists and network modules will be coded.
080902As you may know, Atlantean is now running on the Bebot 0.4.* stable. Since Bebot 0.5.*'s releases, the use of object oriented programming has been improved drastically, it's quite a rewrite. The problem was that it just didn't work.
Socket connection problems. And due to that i couldn't continue developing for it. Today, is the day.. that i
found the bug causing this, and development now continues!
